Bob's Yeast Buckwheat Pancakes

High Fiber, Lactose Free, Low Cal, Low Sugar.

Directions

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Combine whole wheat pastry flour, organic buckwheat flour, and salt. Stir in yeast mixture and 1 cup cold water. Cover and refrigerate overnight or several hours.

Step 2

Combine melted margarine, baking soda, hot water and evaporated cane juice. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and let stand 30 minutes.

Step 3

Cook pancakes on a lightly greased griddle.

Makes 8 pancakes.

This is an absolutely delicious recipe! My daughter loves these, and they are even better if you had thin slices of banana. Highly recommended.

Fantastic!! Very easy to make with some planning and pancakes Re very filling. My two year old loves them too. Great with apricots on top.
