Basic Cooking Instructions for Creamy Brown Rice Farina

These instructions are printed on the label of Creamy Brown Rice Farina. Microwave. Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Low Fat, No Sugar, Soy Free, Vegan.

Directions

Stove top cooking instructions:

Bring 3 cups water and ½ tsp salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Creamy Rice Cereal and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Be careful not to overcook.
Serves 4


Single serving instructions:

Bring 3/4-cup water and a pinch of salt to a boil. Add 1/4-cup dry Creamy Brown Rice Farina, reduce heat and let cook to desired consistency, 5 - 8 minutes. Let stand for about 2 minutes. Cooked yield is about 2/3-cup. Serves 1.


Microwave:

In a large bowl, combine ¼ cup Creamy Rice Cereal and 3/4-cup water. Cover and microwave for 3 - 5 minutes (be careful to watch so it doesn't boil over). Let stand for 2 minutes. Serves 1.

Note: Adding brown sugar or honey, milk and raisins make this cereal delicious!
