Nutty flavor, medium grain brown rice
Slightly chewy texture, nutty flavor make medium-grain brown rice great for pilafs and equally good steamed with a little butter and served as a side dish. Medium grain brown rice also makes good sushi. My husband is diabetic and brown rice is healthier for him than white rice. A true whole grain, it is a natural health food.
