- I have been making sourdough bread from freshly ground grains every other day for several years now. This is my favorite. It has an amazingly complex flavor.
- Great Multipurpose Wheat
- I grind this wheat fresh using a Blendtec blender. It takes less than a minute to turn 3-4 cups of wheat berries into a fresh flour. This high speed blender does produce heat, but not as much as a grain mill I had for the Champion Juicer, and heat isn't so much an issue if you're not sprouting... if you're cooking immediately with the flour it makes virtually no difference nutritionally, if you're
- Delicious as an alternative to cold cereal - combined with walnuts, blueberries and soy milk, it truly doesn't get any better. Easy to cook: If you like a chewy texture, boil 7 cups water, add 2 cups wheat berries, and simmer for one hour. Drain and rinse. Perfection!
