Bob's Red Mill Date Nut Bran Muffin Mix is made from a unique blend of wholesome ingredients. We combine heart-healthy whole wheat pastry flour, high-fiber wheat bran, chewy sweet dates and rich cashews for muffins that are not only moist and delicious, but also good for you—and so very easy to prepare! Whole Wheat Pastry Flour is 100% stone ground from the best U.S #1 soft white wheat into very fine flour. The whole wheat berries are milled with the nutritious bran, germ and endosperm all intact. It contains all the natural goodness of whole wheat. We combine this whole wheat flour with even more wheat bran for an extra dose of dietary fiber. This appealing mix is one of our favorites. The high-fiber muffins make a terrific healthy breakfast or snack. What a tasty way to get more fiber in your diet!

Addictive Muffins
We like to substitute mashed bananas (one and a half/recipe) for the recommended applesauce. A great and economical replacement for the up-scale store-bought muffins and every bit as good. Thank you, thank you. I have been on a search for a bran muffin that is not like cake or floor sweepings. Yours is perfect for that afternoon snack. I prefer the molasses and add applesauce as you suggest. Good, healthful, food.
